http://christianity.livejournal.com/4221013.html
Living The Word (. WISE MEN STILL SEEK HIM. THE WISE MEN AND HEROD. When he had called together all the peoples chief priests and teachers of the law, he asked them where the Christ was to be born. In Bethlehem in Judea, they replied, for this is what the prophet has written. How can the Christ come from Galilee? Does not the Scripture say that the Christ will come from Davids family and from Bethlehem, the town where David lived? Lord, I praise You for the reliability of Your Word. Help me to be wil...

Living The Word (. I HAVE SEEN THE LORD! Read: John 20:1–18. They (the angels) asked her, Woman, why are you crying? They have taken my Lord away, she said, and I dont know where they have put him. FOLLOW THE LEADER: christianity

Living The Word (. Read 1 Corinthians Chapters 1 – 3. Now I say this, that each of you says, I am of Paul, or I am of Apollos, or I am of Cephas, or I am of Christ. Is Christ divided. 1 Corinthians 1:12-13a NKJV. The church at Corinth had several gifted teachers, each with his own style of ministry. The new converts were lining up contentiously behind their favorite leaders, causing division in the church. Paul writes,. Progressive Bible?: christianity
http://christianity.livejournal.com/4223364.html
Although baptized in a SBC church well into adulthood, I very quickly rejected the evangelical version of Christianity so strongly that I hardly consider evengelicals to be Christian at all; as others have pointed out, they have more in common with the Pharisees of the Gospels than they do Christ Himself. Seems to me that one of the biggest omissions from the Progressive Chirstian movement is a progressive Bible. So now my question is: does a Bible that was. Post a new comment. poem: christianity

Quick for a turtle (. Quick for a turtle. We all suffer and we do not notice how this apple. Is an orange of prayers. That welcome us in a sigh that may not be one. And it is not our own. In such a thing we feel and realize another word. Like the bible, but without. The inward peaches of blood and hurt and lie. And this is true! We all hurt inside and this is holy somehow if only. We could poetize all hurt and it would. Be so small then and we'd cry out, this is a paradise. Post a new comment.

question to others who don't view the bible as inerrant: christianity
http://christianity.livejournal.com/4221344.html
Quick for a turtle (. Quick for a turtle. Question to others who don't view the bible as inerrant. How do you read the bible if you don't believe the book is inerrant and has no mistakes? Is it still a holy book for you or do you treat it differently now? How do you find God now, if not in the pages of this book? How do you practice your faith and religion differently from those who read the bible as inerrant and thoroughly authorative and simply go by its rules? Post a new comment. Post a new comment.
