The Loft in McGregor. The loft is ideally situated on the quiet outskirts of the town overlooking the bush yet in easy walking distance of restaurants and pubs. It consists of one large room with a queen size bed and 2 single beds for children en suite. It is a self catering establishment. There is a kitchen and dining area downstairs and an outside garden for a braai. The Loft for 2 adults is R600.00 per night. We are pet friendly to well behaved pets! Stunning location, peaceful town and amazing hosts!

The Loft in McGregor. The Breede River Valley is probably the most picturesque valley in South Africa with its famous Breede river, the largest river in the Western Cape. Vineyards abound in the area as do fruit and olive farms. McGregor has a large number of olive farms in its vicinity and is famous for it's apricot crop. Half way to Grayton on the mountain walk. Thursday, July 14, 2011. For those awaiting pictures of the spider mentioned here. The only way I had to trap the spider overnight. It's legs curled up, so all you can see is the massive body. Well, and one leg got "removed" by the mug landing on it. Haha, when I lifted the mug that next morning, all I saw was the one leg on the floor. Definitely thought the spider had somehow escaped til it dropped down from being stuck on the inside edge of the mug. Delicious. Tuesday, July 12, 2011. I'm worse than Bob!
