Until a few hours later when I heard a noise at the bottom of the stairs. I went and looked, and there was Mikki sticking her paws under the rug looking for her buried treasure! To this day, I have no clue how she managed to pull the bulbs out of the sockets without breaking them. Rest in Peace, my sweet angel!
