New birds for us. These are a few places that we have visited that really hit the spot. This was a great stop at Goulburn, on the way to Canberra, and a must for people who love real food or cycling or both. Thanks Sean and Lauren for the tip. This national park in the north of Tasmania was wonderful. Dubbed the 'Serengeti of Tasmania", we saw loads of wombats, pademelons, and a few wallabies. The density of animals by, or on the road, made for a hair-raising trip back to Devonport. The Strand, Townsville.

New birds for us. Fresh new birds (for most of us! Black faced and little pied cormorant. Pied and sooty oystercatcher. Little, Intermediate and Great Egret. Little, Intermediate and Great Egrets. Eastern Reef Egret (grey morph). Jabiru (Black Necked Stork). Whistling Duck (Wandering and Plumed). Forest, Azure and Little Kingfishers. White breasted wood swallow. Pied Heron, Pacific Heron, Night Heron. Chestnut-quilled and White-quilled Rock Pigeons. Yellow tinted honey eater.

A family house bus adventure into the world of sustainability. The Loop is an 11 metre 1978 Mercedes 0305 bus with Campbell as the main driver. An ex-ARA Yellow Bus (fleet #1531) that also served as a tour and charter bus from Taupo and Rotorua, it has it’s original 11 litre engine and 3 speed auto gear box.
