On Sunday morning we got up early (we left Long Beach at 5:30 am, nobody knows why) and drove to Laguna to Thousand Steps Beach. August 10, 2015. On June 29th, 2005 I graduated from OPHS alongside (I think) 33 other classmates, most of whom I've known since Kindergarten (if not Playschool). This past weekend was our 10 year high school reunion, which also coincided with the Bow Valley Jamboree, a music festival held in our hometown. A few weeks ago I was sitting in a salon waiting to get my hair done, and I absentmindedly picked up a book to flip through while I waited. I was immediately captivated by the imagery in the book, which turned out to be A Year of Mornings. The book is based on this blog.
