What It's Like To Be Me: June 2013
http://littlewisp.blogspot.com/2013_06_01_archive.html
What It's Like To Be Me. Monday, June 24, 2013. Well, things are less scary now that we've been here for a little while. We're medium unpacked at this point. It spoke to me. ;). Patches has been loving her jungle of boxes. She will play and play in packing paper and boxes and then come and take a break on an available lap or the cat tree and then continue when she wakes up. She doesn't see a need for change and the more boxes disappear the more displeased she is about it. ;). Patchy on Daddy's lap. Anoth...

the bastians: It's a new home
http://bebastian.blogspot.com/2014/07/it-new-home.html
Thursday, July 17, 2014. Its a new home. It's hard to not want everything new in a new home, so I've done my best with what I already have. I moved stuff around and added a few new things from Ikea. I have yet to hang anything, but I'm still figuring that stuff out. Got this little stack of books from the Salt Lake City library book sale this past spring. The entry table was being stored at my parents' home for a few months. I got it from the amazing Vivian at Perfect Pallet. Let's just say making your b...

the bastians: April 2015
http://bebastian.blogspot.com/2015_04_01_archive.html
Thursday, April 9, 2015. I am no longer throwing my produce away. Over the weekend I was down to the powder of both my fuji apples and raspberries. I usually use the powder for a healthy smoothie, but we had lots of vanilla ice cream so I decided to make a shake. And boy was it yummy. I love that I use the entire can of my Thrive foods. Nothing is ever thrown away. No more bad spinach in the trash or rotten berries the the day after I buy them. And that is rewarding. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

What It's Like To Be Me: May 2013
http://littlewisp.blogspot.com/2013_05_01_archive.html
What It's Like To Be Me. Monday, May 20, 2013. More getting ready. lol. I think the transition will probably go fine, but I can't help but worry all along. :S I'm going in to see the dentist again tomorrow because the pain has gotten worse again and spread to my jaw so they need to look at it and probably take an x-ray. At least I'll have a dentist to transfer to right away. But we can do it. :). Tuesday, May 7, 2013. April went by so quickly! May is here and I wasn't ready yet. ;). Mama fave: OXO tot.

the bastians: A new outlook on food
http://bebastian.blogspot.com/2015/03/a-new-outlook-on-food.html
Tuesday, March 17, 2015. A new outlook on food. I hate wasting food. I cringe when I buy fruits and vegetables - because I want to be healthy - and then I end up throwing 80% of it away. Did you know Americans waste 25-40% of the food they buy! Are you kidding me? I never liked to cook because I didn't want to throw away leftovers and I hate chopping onions. And I stopped buying healthy snacks because all of my fruits and veggies went in the trash. Well there is a solution. Freeze dried. It's rev...No su...

Wednesday, June 25, 2014. Every night for the past week Colonel Brandon and I have had a similar discussion. the bastians: February 2014
http://bebastian.blogspot.com/2014_02_01_archive.html
Thursday, February 20, 2014. I don't actually know if this post will ever be published, but in the meantime. Colonel Brandon and I were talking about recent posts we've seen on Facebook. A lot of issues with statements the LDS church has made. Some issue with a Mormon woman writing about her personal interpretation of the movie, "Frozen" and other random negativity. So he could take all their money and get rich? Or be beaten, forced to move constantly, and eventually be murdered at the age of 39. And the...

What It's Like To Be Me: January 2013
http://littlewisp.blogspot.com/2013_01_01_archive.html
What It's Like To Be Me. Friday, January 11, 2013. It's been a stressful week. The saddest thing that happened this week is that my sweet grandmother passed away. She was a sweet, tough lady. When I was little, I got to go visit my mother's parents for a few days all by myself. It was a lot of fun for me. Grandma even got me store-bought. After a wild night chasing the red dot. Tuesday, January 1, 2013. Another Year Has Come and Gone. Johnny was just hanging out in Afghanistan. :7. Being apart was diffic...

the bastians: Good Things Utah Demo!
http://bebastian.blogspot.com/2015/03/good-things-utah-demo.html
Wednesday, March 25, 2015. Good Things Utah Demo! Monday evening I checked my email to find the producer from Good Things Utah was asking if I'd fill in for a food demo Wednesday of this week! I immediately said yes, and then the reality hit. What was I saying yes to? Going on TV and cooking! I am anything but a chef. Or a TV star. But I love this product so much and I want people to know about it! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). A day in the life. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

the bastians: January 2014
http://bebastian.blogspot.com/2014_01_01_archive.html
Thursday, January 30, 2014. I agree with another blogger that Valentines Day is worth celebrating now that I can decorate with hearts galore. The other day I picked up some adorable paper hearts from Pebbles and sewed them together to create a super long heart garland. I had to get creative where to hang such a long garland. I don't have a fancy chandelier above my kitchen table so I created one with my hearts. And then here's my pretend mantle celebrating winter and Valentines Day. Week 2 we sang the ch...
