sew lately: Motherhood
http://sewlately.blogspot.com/2015/02/motherhood.html
All of my adventures from the sewing machine to every day life. Saturday, February 28, 2015. To be honest, it really isn't what I imagined it to be. When I was pregnant with the boys I thought about all the fun things we were going to do: playing in the snow, making crafts, having them help me with dinner, going to the park, cuddling and watching movies, and the list could go on. I never stopped to think about the tantrums, the incessant whining, the schedules, the meals, the mess, the disobedience.

http://spiritedsimplicity.blogspot.com/2012/09/a-new-week-new-beginning-new-attitude.html
The long and winding road. Following God wherever He leads me. This is going to get kinda crazy friends! Monday, September 10, 2012. A new week. A new beginning. A new attitude. I have a re-accuring problem. Where I tend to get overwhelmed, my way of coping is to do nothing. Some of you are saying right now "well good, just leave it alone." but clearly you don't know me. When I say nothing, I mean absolutely nothing. I love days like this, and fully believe God gave me this day today because I really nee...

http://spiritedsimplicity.blogspot.com/2012/04/easter-in-edinburgh.html
The long and winding road. Following God wherever He leads me. This is going to get kinda crazy friends! Thursday, April 12, 2012. I randomly got to take a weekend trip to Edinburgh, Scotland during Easter weekend. Last year around this time I took a trip to Northern Ireland. So I was very happy to go back to the United Kingdom this year but to the other known luscious green, fun accent filled country: Scotland! The lady's name is Rosemary, and I can honestly say I believe she has changed my life. We had...

A Day in the Life of....: Answers in the desert.
http://jesheller.blogspot.com/2011/02/answers-in-desert.html
A Day in the Life of. Sunday, February 13, 2011. Answers in the desert. Today I took full advantage of having the day off and the weather being absolutely gorgeous. I grabbed something to lunch on at Trader Joe's and brought it to a little gem in Phoenix called Canaan in the Desert. To spend some time in the quiet beauty of the prayer garden that they have open to the public. Josh loved to juice! I loved that in the quietness of the desert, I was able to so clearly know that this was the way that the Lor...

A Day in the Life of. Thursday, August 05, 2010. Threshed and Ground to Perfection. When I was a little girl, my family would have dinner together and then spend some time reading through a devotional, the Bible, or perhaps a chapter from a book. I have fond but foggy memories of listening to my parents read to us from "Hinds' Feet on High Places" by Hannah Hurnard. Recently I decided to pick up a copy and read it again for myself. 27 Caraway is not threshed with a sledge,. And cummin with a stick. In my...

Sweet Tomato Pie: My latest project...
http://sweetomatopie.blogspot.com/2011/08/my-latest-project.html
Thursday, August 4, 2011. Remember that little teaser I gave you back here. You know, the fabric swatches I showed at the bottom of the post? WellI did something with them! It's called a quillow, and I learned how to make it from this excellent tutorial: Quillow. It's a gift for my first niece {yet to be born/named}. It is aptly named a "quillow" as it is a quilt, that folds into a pillow! The front of the quillow is light aqua with chocolate brown flecks, and is decorated with this little guy. The quill...
