Saturday, 9 March 2013. A date at The Fashion Museum in Bath. The Bath Fashion Museum is 50 years old. A few weeks ago I took myself on a 'date' (if you've read ' An Artist's Way. By Julia Cameron - you'll know all about these kind of outings) They are an opportunity to take yourself off somewhere you want to with only yourself to please! So I decided to go to the Bath Fashion Museum. If you are a BANES resident you can apply for a discovery card. So it's well worth getting one. 2011 Dress of the Year.

On Saturday 01 June I was lucky enough to get myself a ticket for ‘Dinner to Dye For’ – a natural dyeing workshop and dinner in Bethnal Green, London– (which I’d heard about after meeting a lady in Frome. I’m not one for rules, find guidelines much friendlier! Here’s what I've set out for myself (for those also taking part - feel free to add any additional guidelines for yourself if you'd like to):. When I say NO NEW clothes – what I mean is no new ‘shop bought’. So if I want to make a dress or skirt etc., and I don’t already have the fabric/pattern it’s ok to buy some. Thursday, 18 July 2013. A few weeks ago, I was lucky enough to go and see some friends sheep have their haircut! And to be given EIGHT fleeces! Me with April - a rather LARGE lamb! This picture is an example of that, it may be a small project but it represents something bigger. I have mastered zips! Something I will definitely find useful for the next years challenge!
