Return of the Lumpus. Monday, December 7, 2009. Anyway, they were super impressed with how well my wound healed. Apparently this was a major concern (good thing I didn't know that before! I am going back to see him in three weeks, hopefully I won't have to wait as long. :). On a good note, Ryan has a permanent job at AIG! I am going back to see him in three weeks, hopefully I won't have to wait as long. :). On a good note, Ryan has a permanent job at AIG! Return of the Lumpus. Tuesday, November 3, 2009. Avon Walk for Breast Cancer. In October, after many months of fundraising and training, I completed the Avon Walk for Breast Cancer with my team. The walk consisted of walking 26.2 miles on Saturday, sleeping in tents on Randall's Island Saturday night, then walking another 13.1 miles on Sunday. My feet still aren't quite right, but like they said at the walk blisters don't hurt as much as chemotherapy. I feel like I can accomplish anything now!

Return of the Lumpus. Saturday, November 21, 2009. I Promise Not to Delete This. Sorry I deleted last week's post. I promise not to delete this one. The last one came off as more "woe is me" than I intended, so I decided to take it down and start fresh. It felt good to breathe fresh air and be out of the house. Although it felt a little weird being around other human beings after being in my apartment all the time. I guess that's how people become crazy hermits? Yes but that shouldn't be a surprise.
