I can't believe August is already here, which means I return to work in 21 days. I have loved being at home this summer, getting to do things with the boys. June was a month of winding down from the school year. We didn't do much of anything but go through closets and clean! Steve, Stephanie, Owen and Elijah. Wednesday, August 3, 2011. Where, oh where, has Summer 2011 gone? Here it is, August 3rd, and I am wondering where the summer has gone? WellI know exactly where the Lyford summer has gone! June - Week 1 was EC baseball camp, week 2 was cub scout camp, week 3 was a conference for me, and week 4 was vacation bible school. That was the entire month! We did enjoy a trip to San Antonio and Sea World , which was really nice! July - was a lot milder! It has been nice, though!

Steve, Stephanie, Owen and Elijah. Saturday, December 24, 2011. A SHSU Bearkat Family! For our Christmas pictures this year, we decided to go with a SHSU Bearkat theme! Steve and I are both graduates of '01 and '03. So far, the boys both want to attend Sam Houston State! We hope that continues as they get closer to that time! We shall see. Our Journey Through The Valley. Tuesday, September 1, 2009. Trip to the Oregon Sand Dunes. In August we headed to the coast of Oregon to meet some friends at the Oregon Sand Dunes! We were going to experience the Sand dunes on the coast on the 4 wheelers! We headed to Oregon Friday afternoon when Scott got off of work. We went about 3/4 of the way and decided to call it a night and get some rest! Then we woke up the next morning and drove the remainder of the trip to Reedsport, OR! We had a great time!
