http://thehoughamherald.blogspot.com/2015/01/kpmg-decade-to-remember.html
Saturday, January 3, 2015. KPMG: A Decade to Remember! Holy moly, how did that even happen? I mean, when I graduated college at the end of ’04 (yikes! And started at this place, staying for 10 years was. And I'm the last (wo)man standing of my entire start class! So thank you to those of you who have supported me, mentored me, and helped me be successful in this journey so far! I have been blessed beyond belief. I was not compensated by KPMG for this blog entry. It’s straight from the heart! Our life is ...

The Hougham Herald: INDIA: A Different Perspective
http://thehoughamherald.blogspot.com/2014/07/india-different-perspective.html
Friday, July 18, 2014. INDIA: A Different Perspective. Ok, so for this go-around, we have a 'guest blogger'. Jordan wanted to give his perspective on my 2-week trip to India and I thought it would be an interesting insight as well. First off, let me say that this blog is by no means to get sympathy, because trust me, I know there are plenty of people whose spouses travel. I am a "passionate man" (as coined by Mica Anderson and Jen), but I will try to keep this as "manly" as I can. I mean what better oppo...

The Hougham Herald: INDIA: What I've Learned So Far
http://thehoughamherald.blogspot.com/2014/06/india-what-ive-learned-so-far.html
Monday, June 30, 2014. INDIA: What I've Learned So Far. I will go ahead and preface this post that the below list was as a result of my own personal experience in India and may differ from others. I've learned alot in my first week here, so in no particular order. Handsoap in the bathrooms is a hot commodity. It was 4 days into my first week before the dispenser was refilled. (I went through ALOT of hand sanitizer! A construction hat can double as a motorcycle helmet and be acceptable. I still can't reme...

The Hougham Herald: December 2013
http://thehoughamherald.blogspot.com/2013_12_01_archive.html
Tuesday, December 31, 2013. 2013: A Year in Review! I CANNOT believe that tomorrow is 2014. This year has flown by, especially these past few months. (I didn't even do a single blog for December! As usual, I like to recap all of our memories for the year. Enjoy! We kicked off the month with an Elmo-themed 2nd birthday party for Chase. As usual, I went a bit overboard with my craftiness. What can I say, I love planning a good party! And Jordan and I managed to sneak away to the Rangers home-opener for som...

The Hougham Herald: May 2014
http://thehoughamherald.blogspot.com/2014_05_01_archive.html
Monday, May 26, 2014. A few weeks ago, we took a 5-day little vacation to San Antonio. We packed up the Tahoe and settled in for a 5 hr roadtrip! The boys did pretty good as usual, entertained by movies, books, snacks, 'Are we there yet's? And games of 'I Spy'. Strapped in for the long ride. Relaxin' in the Rattlesnake River. Playing around in the sand! All cuddled up together. And we had a blast. Great memories! Intently watching the Sea Lion show. The idea at first scared the crap out of me. Now, I...

Friday, July 18, 2014. INDIA: It's a Wrap! I'm finally getting around to wrapping up my India trip on the blog. The second week was exhausting. Teaching all day, then going back to my hotel room and catching up on my regular job during 'U.S. hours' when everyone else was awake was alot. But I was basically a lazy bum that Sunday. I left my room for breakfast only and then spent. Watching Netflix. A productive day for sure. :) But just what I needed. Overall, it was an. Traveling that far, for that long, ...

Monday, August 25, 2014. Kindergarten: A New Journey Begins. Wow I can't believe this day has finally arrived. The day you take your first steps to Kindergarten and seriously become a big independent boy. When I held you in my arms for the first time nearly 6 years, it was absolute bliss. After all, you had caused me 'all-day sickness' for nearly my entire pregnancy and then high blood pressure; of course I was ready to get you out of my tummy! Love at first sight! Meet the Teacher Night! You never get u...

The Hougham Herald: January 2014
http://thehoughamherald.blogspot.com/2014_01_01_archive.html
Saturday, January 25, 2014. I know, I'm about 2 weeks late on getting around to posting about Chase's 3rd birthday party. After my two-week Christmas break, I returned back to the chaos of work and haven't seemed to slow down at all. Anyways, onto the party details! We opted for a Mickey-themed celebration this year. I procrastinated and got busy with the work and holidays, so I didn't even start. As usual, we had our themed-wreath on the front door to welcome the guests. Whatever; as long as they're not...
