Proud Mummy!: December 2008
http://normalmummy.blogspot.com/2008_12_01_archive.html
Friday, 5 December 2008. Keep safe works (kind of). Kaydin came down with a cold on tuesday and i have come to the conclusion that when Kaydin gets a cold he likes it all to be over and done with in 2 days which means tues and weds were coughing, high temps, vomiting (in my bed weds night gross! Which is of course the next step the keep safe teaches them but didn't really answer my question so i simply said "that's right you do tell your mum" and changed the subject. Proud Mummy!: March 2008
http://normalmummy.blogspot.com/2008_03_01_archive.html
Friday, 7 March 2008. I read this quote today. Plan ahead, it wasn't raining when Noah built the ark." -Unknown. And it reminded me of the book "The Other Ark" by Lynley Dodd in which Noah didn't really plan ahead and when he asks his friend Sam Bambaloo to help things don't go according to his plan either. Saturday, 1 March 2008. I just found this photo of my son at his cousin Ollie's first birthday last year that i couldn't amke it to. Doesn't he make a gorgeous Tiger? Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Library Life: October 2007
http://librarylifenz.blogspot.com/2007_10_01_archive.html
Sunday, October 28, 2007. I found the oclc newsletter frustrating, as who are they? Nowhere could I see in the newletter a link to who they are or what they stand for. so have done a google search and now found the answer. I'm feeling a little over the web 2 hype as there is a lot of talk about it but very few libraries seem to be doing anything very innovative on their websites. Went and checked out good reads. Thursday, October 25, 2007. Wednesday, October 24, 2007. Hmmm created my own account as reall...

Isn't hubcap a weird word? Delighting in the delinquency of the English language. Sunday, February 15, 2009. If a picture paints a thousand words . How many does a widget paint? If a widget can paint that is. Have dutifully embedded the. Widget as per instructions from the Power(s) That Be (which, incidentally, is an excellent sci-fi series by Anne McCaffrey - not as good as the Pern series, but not much is). So that's the end of Week 3 . and I'm all booked up. Or booked out? ACL web 2.1.

Isn't hubcap a weird word?: Author! Author!
http://fithelibrarian.blogspot.com/2009/02/author-author.html
Isn't hubcap a weird word? Delighting in the delinquency of the English language. Wednesday, February 11, 2009. Had a look at. Authors on the web. I wasn't overly impressed by either site. Authors on the web. Is a commercial web design service rather than a site that might be useful in any way for readers' advisory. And if there is a search function on the Yellow Pages site, I couldn't find it. And when I want to search, I want to search - NOT browse. Favourite book site and one I have recommended to man...

Isn't hubcap a weird word?: March 2009
http://fithelibrarian.blogspot.com/2009_03_01_archive.html
Isn't hubcap a weird word? Delighting in the delinquency of the English language. Wednesday, March 4, 2009. And now the end is here . So this must be the final curtain? So what to say about this Web 2.0 learning? Good in principle, but the selection of resources was disappointing. Some had little or no Web 2.0 relevance/content and others didn't really fit with anything I would find useful in a library environment. That said, Go Animate was fun, and I might use it in future for personal. That they just t...
