In tax today the teacher during a discussion about how poorly paid amprentices are she was telling us about her early days doing tax work and how she recieved only $15 an hour while the company still charged out her services to clients at $80 an hour. Have you ever found out on the day of the final exam someone from high school is in one of your classes? This happened to me today, while listening to "Short Fast Loud" (Gotta love the Triple J website) between exams and 'studying' a certain Kieran (of the Tracey variary) came on over and said G'day. A very harrowing number yes, but it's human nature to just look past incidents like this unless they have some form of personal involvement (or have something else linking them to the tragedy).
