Thirteen Ninety Eight: April 2015
http://thirteenninetyeight.blogspot.com/2015_04_01_archive.html
Thursday, April 30, 2015. What is Thirteen Ninety Eight? Pineapples. They're pretty much everywhere,. The year the word "pineapple" was first recorded in the English language, although it wasn't to describe the fruit. "Pineapple," derived from the Spanish word "pina," first described pinecones. It was only about 300 years later, when the word "pinecone" was introduced to our language, that "pineapple" became the official word for, well, the pineapple. Weird name for a blog? Blake @ Thirteen Ninety Eight.

Which, by the way, no longer uses a card catalog. Did y'all know that? I digress. The seamless went up, the lights were on and I was ready for action. Musing about my five collecting interests: all things Orioles, 50's Baseball, team publications, Japanese cards and even some football and hockey. You might find some beautiful women, soccer stuff, presidential pins and life advice from time to time. I don't charge extra for any of those. Tuesday, April 28, 2015. Signed Orioles Team Postcards. Gus Triandos didn't have a name on the front but he had the standard postcard back, adrress box, stamp box, etc. Luke Appling coached the Orioles in 1963. And ...
