Monday, June 9, 2014. The most photographically neglected child in our home has definitely been #3. It's nearly impossible to drag the big camera with me anywhere as I'm chasing Littlest, hoping the two Bigs don't run away or disappear. and of course, Littlest simply has. To particpate in whatever the Bigs are doing, definitely NOT content to sit and watch. There aren't enough arms or eyes for this, let alone arms filled with a big, heavy camera. He is sooooo cute! Monday, June 9, 2014. Kindergarten, 4th week in. Hmmm This is more difficult than I'd expected. Math is easy (for now it takes us 5 minutes to do an entire lesson, only longer if she wants to do more than one or is just taking her sweet time following instructions). Wednesday, February 29, 2012. December 2011 in review. Wow, now when I look back at December, we had a busy month and I took LOTS of picutres! We started the month celebrating the little guy's 1st birthday. Since Andrew is our little warrior I stuck with the camo theme. Here are a few pictures of the decorations. Saturday, December 27, 2008. Christmas Ponderings for the New Year. Maybe that is what God was able to do in my heart this year. I was able to SAVOR his sacrifice, his humility. I was forced to examine the way I worshipped and how I portrayed Christ to others. It made room in my heart to worship Jesus in the WAY of Jesus. The miracle is that God personally entered our story. Amidst the heavy blanket of darkness, a small cry was heard. A sound so beautiful it would shatter the shackles binding our feet.

Saturday, April 11, 2009. I just came from our church's Good Friday service. It was somber, artistic and absolutely beautiful. Tonight, I feel the true depth of my soul. It is a stirring that cannot be contained by words, figures, or even my feable attempts at writing. It feels almost like every crack and crevice of my humanity has been discovered and filled. Sealed. Completed. I can't really explain it beyond that. To experience Him…to taste, sense, feel his sacrifice in a physical and tangible way.

Walking on Broken Glass. Well, maybe not quite that dramatic. About 2 months ago there was a group of us from work who thought it would be a good idea to walk a Half-Marathon. 3 months since the last post on this thing? Bruin is of course the main topic of conversation. He is doing fantastic! Bruin is super mobile. I wouldn't call it crawling just yet.
