What is Important...: December 2011

http://whatisimportant-connie.blogspot.com/2011_12_01_archive.html

Life through my eyes. Thursday, December 22, 2011. Thankful for my family during the holidays! There are times that I am thankful that I’ve never been married or had kids. Those times arrive when I listen to the horror stories of my friend who has been divorced for some time but continues to deal with an abusive ex-husband because they have a child together. While I won’t go into great detail about her case, because I want to protect her and her child’s privacy. I am an optimist. At this holiday season I...

Life through my eyes. Thursday, December 16, 2010. December 2010 - Winter Break. Fall term 2010, first term of the Ed program, it is such a relief to have completed the first term. I didn't think I'd ever get this far, I know that I was determined and all but some days it didn't ever feel like i'd get this far. But, the term is over and I earned 4 A's and 1 B, as my dad says B=bummer "what happened? What happened was that I. yes I have an excuse! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Et tu, English? The 4th of July.

What is Important...: January 2013

http://whatisimportant-connie.blogspot.com/2013_01_01_archive.html

Life through my eyes. Wednesday, January 30, 2013. Winter blues. my house plants are dying :(. My plants seem to be dying…. Winter is always hard on my plants; my plants are like children or pets to me. It’s winter in the great Pacific Northwest and we don’t get a lot of sunlight, and I keep the blinds shut a bunch because I don’t like to see the dreary days. It’s warmer inside my apartment in the winter because I hate being cold, my apartment is drafty and it’s hard to keep it warm. Is it a Compliment?

Life through my eyes. Saturday, October 9, 2010. So, I’ve started a blog. You may ask why? Why does anyone start a blog, I will ask you in response? This is actually my second blog in the last month that I’ve started; the other blog is school related and a requirement for a class. After really working on the other I decided that I like the way I was able to reflect on my life. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Innovative Ideas for Christmas Pudding (1863). What is Important...: July 2011

http://whatisimportant-connie.blogspot.com/2011_07_01_archive.html

Life through my eyes. Wednesday, July 20, 2011. So, is it summer vacation or not. I'm not even sure it's summer with the weather we have been having! Summer vacation makes me think of my childhood, you know, with no responsibilities, no school, no work. hanging out in the sun working on my tan. As a college student this is the first summer in six years that I haven't taken classes, a very strange concept for me now. Coming up quick this summer is the Jesse family reunion, which I have the distinction of ...

What is Important...: The truth about substitute teaching…

http://whatisimportant-connie.blogspot.com/2013/02/the-truth-about-substitute-teaching.html

Life through my eyes. Saturday, February 9, 2013. The truth about substitute teaching…. The truth about substitute teaching…. Sometimes I am a highly paid glorified babysitter and sometimes I actually teach. As a substitute it truly depends on the class and what lesson plans are left by the teacher as to whether I teach or babysit. Some days are busy and very productive, other days are boring and tedious; again it depends on the class and the lesson plan. When I checked in at the main office, I was told ...

Life through my eyes. Wednesday, April 24, 2013. How to Scare yourself… Applying for a Master’s Program. How to Scare yourself… Applying for a Master’s Program. Applying for a Master’s Program is scary in many ways. First, it costs money that I don’t have, oh FAFSA how I love you! I don’t really know anything about Master’s Programs and what to expect. Et tu, English?
