I took some photos of our elementary school's butterfly garden today. I love taking photos of flowers. A little bit about the McBride's daily lives, for those who may care:). Apr 15, 2014. First trip to the Outer Banks. Anyway, we loved the beach of course, and crazy Mia even went in the water. We also loved Jockey's Ridge (I felt like we were in the Sahara), and the lovely lighthouses and the fishing pier (we saw someone catch skates, and sharks! The past few weeks have been quite busy with lots of fun end of the year stuff for both of the girls. We also took a trip to Md. for Memorial Weekend and had a blast tubing at our friend's the DeGuzmans, and meeting baby Camden! We hatched and released butterflies, we went to the annual Harborfest (tall ships celebration in Norfolk), and we kicked off another relaxing summer at the neighborhood pool!

Thursday, April 28, 2011. I am posting this newsletter on my blog trusting that many will read and meditate on this historic event that should never have happened, but IT DID! We need to never forget history or it will be repeated! After a wonderful time of fellowship during Family Week Kentucky we are finally settling in for a few days here in Tennessee and have already begun preparing for our next adventure. As sweet as the time was we are reminded this weekend of a time not so sweet. Sad, isn't it?
