http://themccannsfarm.blogspot.com/2011_10_01_archive.html
The Fun at our Farm. Friday, October 28, 2011. Well as the season is coming to an end we are really enjoying all of the children (and adults) visiting the pumpkin patch. This week we have had Kindergarten classes every day. I had a great time watching the little faces as Nancy explains that broccoli does not "grow" at the grocery store. We had one very bright girl who knew how broccoli grows! Isn't that sad there was only 1 kidwho knew! The fun of our Farm. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Mums at the farm.

http://phillyfoodfeed.blogspot.com/2009_06_01_archive.html
Saturday, June 27, 2009. A Visit to the Philadelphia City Hall Farmer's Market. When Ben posted about the opening of a Farmers Market being held every Wednesday at Philadelphia’s City Hall I was instantly intrigued. I immediately commented practically begging Ben to go and report back on what it was like. Ben's response was that I should go and report on it and I will be forever grateful for that suggestion. The main stand that caught our attention was representing the McCann Farm. Links to this post.

The Fun at our Farm: County Fair
http://themccannsfarm.blogspot.com/2014/07/county-fair.html
The Fun at our Farm. Sunday, July 27, 2014. Well today was the closing day of our county fair. The kids work all year preparing their animals to show at the fair. It is a tiring week for the parents, who work food stands, t shirt booths and endlessly trim and prep with the children and the animals. The kids show all day and enjoy the fair all night. As I sit here totally exhausted I listen to the kids talking about how next year they will win a higher ribbon or try to show a different animal.
