Sunday, October 16, 2011. There is a sign for "Dorking" on the way to church. And the house next to it says, " . Butts" and it makes me laugh every time. It's so great that they're right next to each other. My favorite part of today was sitting by Hillary in sacrament meeting. The High Councilman's talk was a little slow (but when I could focus it was really great.on tithing.) She turned to me and really quiet and serious said, "Is it okay if I tickle your back? Monday, June 20, 2011. Last week I went to the Orem Summerfest with John. As soon as we got there we scanned to see what our dinner options were. We ended up with 2 quesadillas, 3 sodas, 1 giant scone, and 1 funnel cake. Carnival food makes me sick every time, but is so worth it. I looked over at John and saw this. Wednesday, August 12, 2015. Family Night at the Top of the World. Shaunie had the brilliant idea to have family night at a park in Newport Coast. She whipped up a portable dinner while I blended up my own dinner (green smoothie) and off we went. Nom, nom, nom. Shaunie and the kids ate spaghetti with creamy tomato sauce and we all had some yummy watermelon, cucumbers, and raw broccoli. Jilly teaching us her lesson. Evelyn taking her turn teaching. Okay, now for a goofy photo. The payoff: Staring at the Sea.

Wednesday, April 30, 2014. April is a busy month! It's the kick off to spring and birthdays and holidays for us. We took a bike ride one Sunday afternoon and happened upon this outdoor gallery of marble carvings. The kids now refer to it as La Luna Park ("The Moon" in Spanish. Statues mooning us, get it? Out on a ride with Ben and Gordon, getting to know the Back Bay trails a little better. Such a pretty view! I think Gordon may have been pointing out the birds or something. Neighborhood Easter egg hunt.

Monday, May 23, 2011. When you just swear without realizing. To myself. Had I just suffocated my cat? I started to get out of bed when she regained consciousness and was all startled and upset because I was moving around. I swear she passed out. There is no way a cat can sleep that deep! She's a real trooper. I'm thankful that I didn't suffocate my childhood pet. There was a long twig in the road which John thought was the longest worm he'd ever seen. Sunday, May 15, 2011. We've been busy frolicking the last of our summer away while Dave was home for his r&r. It was a wonderful two weeks. Filled with so many activities. Which included the following:. A Work In Progress. This Space for Rent. Saturday, May 15, 2010. Hundred year flood part 2. My technical illiteracy put this video in a separate post. Two weeks ago we had some serious rain. Something along the lines of 14 inches in 12 hours. Everyone upstream and downstream got hit by a super long front producing the rain. The flooding was extensive. Baby, the menagerie and I are fine. The creek behind our home is far down the hill from us. We were high and dry through the ordeal. Wednesday, May 5, 2010.
