The Journey To Our Daughter. The Journey To Our Son. Friday, October 19, 2012. A Trip To The Orchard. A trip to the local Apple Orchard is a fall tradition at our house. The kids had been asking frequently when we could head out there to get apples to make applesauce. A beautiful fall day after school we decided to make our way to the Apple Orchard to see just how many windfall apples we could find to. Max wasted no time taking a big juicy bite of an apples when we got out to the orchard.

The Journey To Our Daughter. The Journey To Our Son. Thursday, September 13, 2012. A Trip Through The Owl. I went with Alexa's class to the local Corn Maze on her field trip. The moms gathered outside the classroom waiting to depart. As we waited we began talking about who had been to a maze before, who was directionally challenged and who was nervous about getting lost with their group. The kids were super excited to head into the maze. The kids had a blast at the corn maze! A Trip Through The Owl.

The Journey To Our Daughter. The Journey To Our Son. Thursday, May 24, 2012. It feels like yesterday I was taking a picture of Eric and the kids heading to breakfast before their first day of school. I can't believe how fast the year flew by. It was a year full of fun, growth and. Shane had a great year too. It started out a little rocky with a few time outs as he was figuring life out as a kindergartner. He had an amazing teacher that was gentle and loving and yet ran a tight ship so Shane knew ...It wa...

The Journey To Our Daughter. The Journey To Our Son. Sunday, April 29, 2012. Our Eyes Have Been Opened . The Journey To Our Daughter. When God laid adoption on our hearts we began praying for him to lead us as a family! When we felt God leading us to China to adopt Max we prayed he would open our hearts to what he would have for us on the journey. God affirmed over and over in our journey to Max that this was his story being written, his timing and his plan for our family! It was quite the day. As the mo...

The Journey To Our Daughter. The Journey To Our Son. Friday, March 30, 2012. Emma had a 2nd grade Science Fair that she had to come up with an experiment about Matter or Motion. Her dad was out of town but she was determined to wait until he was home and could help her come up with the perfect experiment. I reminded her she wouldn't have a ton of time to pull it all together if she waited but she didn't mind one bit. Her daddy and her looked on the Internet and it was worth the wait! Put some in molds .

The Journey To Our Daughter. The Journey To Our Son. Sunday, November 27, 2011. We decided to do a little Thanksgiving celebration with Eric's sister Molly and his sister Lori and her family the weekend of Thanksgiving. We decided it would be nice to have a little more time to hang out and for the kids to play. The girls and I saw these pictures of a turkey made out of veggies so we tried our own version. Alexa also thought these fruit cornucopia's looked fun to make. The big girls . And the crazy boys!
