I'm not high maintenance. I just know what I want. After a solid month of my clueless parents trying every conceivable combination/recipe of rice cereal, oatmeal, applesauce, and formula, they have finally figured out my meal preference. They're not too quick on the uptake. For future reference, this. Is what I want:. 2 tbsp Good Start Natural Cultures formula at room temperature. 2 baby spoons of bananas. Microwaved for five seconds. Served in my bouncy chair. While wearing my blue plastic bib with cars.

Monday, March 9, 2009. Southern Girl in Chicago. We are officially now living it up in Chi-town! It has been quite a journey: a southern girl getting used to life in the north.where a foot of snow is on the ground for about 3 months straight, people don't smile at you in the grocery store, and kindergarteners ask if I'm a hillbilly or cowboy! Yesterday I was eight months old. Can you believe how quickly eight months went by? It seems like yesterday I was a mushy mass that could only blink my eyes for entertainment. But that was then. Now? Now I've got some serious skills. 1 I can crawl. FAST. 2 I can pull up on furniture. Sometimes even gracefully. 3 I'm an accomplished musician. 4 I have a girlfriend (She sits in my lap at school. And I let her). 6 I can turn pages in books. 7 I can walk when mommy holds my hands. 9 I eat Gerber puffs.

Yesterday I woke up from my nap to a veritable winter wonderland. Mommy originally decided that it was probably too early (in my life, not in the day) for my first snow outing. Monday, November 3, 2008. This month has been a whirlwind! We just found out that we are moving to a suburb outside of Chicago. Robert was promoted with his job, so we will be moving to Naperville in December. Robert also won the President's Club award for being one of the top 10 sales reps, which means we won a free, all inclusive trip to the Four Seasons in Nevis (an island in the Carribbean. I just got back from the doctor. I have foot-in-mouth disease. Apparently it's pretty serious. I get it from my mother's side of the family. Hang on a sec. What's that, mom? I stand corrected. I have HAND, FOOT, AND MOUTH disease. It's not serious. And I don't get it from my mother's side of the family. I probably got it from that little tart at daycare who's always stealing my paci. Mom read online yesterday that her favorite mommy blogger makes $40,000 a month (yes, that's right) in advertising revenue on her site. So, what am I doing wrong here that I don't have sponsors?
