http://nanasdrawer.blogspot.com/2009/05/i-love-tea-sandwiches.html
Tuesday, May 26, 2009. I love Tea Sandwiches. So, not everything. That I blog about on this site will be a recipe from Nana's Drawer. The food I make is still made in her kitchen and I use many of her bowls, utensils, and all of her ancient appliances. So, I guess you could say that this post fits what Nana's Drawer is all about, it just didn't come directly from there! My sister is having a BABY! I made Tea Sandwiches. Goat Cheese and Watercress Tea Sandwich. Handful chopped fresh watercress. 8 pieces o...

Nana's Drawer: Homemade Goodness
http://nanasdrawer.blogspot.com/2009/08/homemade-goodness.html
Thursday, August 20, 2009. I love being inspired. Especially with food. I also love having a few hours in the morning to be domestic! Today, I sent the kids to an extra day of school and started in on the housework. I was thinking what my new neighbor told me last night about what to do with all of my tomatoes. That are rotting and falling off the vine. She told me to roast them with some olive oil, garlic, and seasoning for a delicious sauce. Duh. why haven't I thought of that yet? 1/4 c white wine.

Nana's Drawer: A Trifle fit for a King
http://nanasdrawer.blogspot.com/2009/06/trifle-fit-for-king.html
Tuesday, June 23, 2009. A Trifle fit for a King. If it wasn't for my Nana, my Dad wouldn't be here. and what a shame that would be, because I wouldn't be here either! No, really.my Dad is the best. He is one of the most sensitive, caring, and nurturing men I have ever met. He prides himself in being honest. One of the most important traits in a human being, in my opinion! He get's this from not being afraid to try new things, to be daring, and just unique. His favorite dessert is Trifle. In a trifle dish...

Nana's Drawer: The Cookie Jar
http://nanasdrawer.blogspot.com/2009/06/cookie-jar.html
Friday, June 5, 2009. I cleaned it out and thought, I have to carry on the tradition of baking cookies and placing them in this jar. It helps that Mason (my oldest son) loves to bake. I think he really just likes eating the butter and sugar after they have been creamed together. Can you blame him? Oh ya, and they have oatmeal in them, which makes me think they can substitute for your breakfast! Salty, Crispy Oatmeal Cookies. Adapted from Cook's Illustrated and Culinerapy. 3/4 teaspoon baking powder.

mmmm good: January 2010
http://wearemmmmgood.blogspot.com/2010_01_01_archive.html
Tuesday, January 12, 2010. Our oldest child is quite coordinated.we learned that when he learned how to ride a bike without training wheels close to his 3rd birthday. Santa brought him a new 16" Redline BMX bike for Christmas this year. We could hardly wait to see get him to the BMX track at Kearny Mesa Raceway. We definitely had a proud parent Sunday. To see your 4 1/2 year old riding with the big kids, not being intimidated, and just loving riding his new bike should make any parents day.

http://wearemmmmgood.blogspot.com/2009_03_01_archive.html
Tuesday, March 31, 2009. A day in the life of Spring. The fig tree's electric green leaves have such a distinct shape. With beautiful fig buds getting bigger every day. And the yellow plum. With it's bright white flowers ready to make way into sweet yellow goodness. I am not sure what this beauty is, I am thinking it is an apricot or peach, the bees are loving the sweet nectar coming from these beautiful pink flowers. Tuesday, March 17, 2009. A cup of Health. I just had the same virus that everyone else ...

mmmm good: February 2010
http://wearemmmmgood.blogspot.com/2010_02_01_archive.html
Friday, February 5, 2010. The boy eats fruit. Miller is my picky kid. the one that puts everything to his mouth, hesitantly, as if the food will come out and bite him! His palate is very plain.mainly boring kid food. He only eats 2 kinds of fruit.tangerine and orange, and he has to peel them himself. Today, we picked out a watermelon, brought it home, cut it up and much to my surprise.he ATE it! He called the little cubes, "waarmulen boxes".and he "lubed them." Music to mama's ears. First Day of School.
