Tuesday, September 15, 2009. 2009 Family Reunion - Garner State Park. Well we had our Annual Chavez Family Reunion. The kids had lots of fun as always. It rained but that didn't stop the Chavez family. We figured out that Mom and Dad have been taking us to Garner State Park since 1976! We have continued the tradition and hopefully our boys and girl will continue with their kids and with each other. So Mom and Dad went from a family of 6 to a family of 17! As I greet this new year full of joyful anticipation, I look back on the past 6 years and can not share the amount of gratefulness that I have learned from my yesterdays. If I was asked what I wanted for Christmas this year, my answer would be, "I HAVE IT" I have a wonderful healthy family, I work for a company that I can stand proud and say "I'm a part of" and I received my dream store in the year 2008. Thursday, May 21, 2009. I can't believe it's SUMMER TIME. Since February we visited San Diego California. We met Kirk Cameron the actor from Fire Proof. We enjoyed the Spring Time weather with family friends. We visited the Capitol and the beautiful Austin Parks. Phillip received his Arrow of Light and crossed over to Boys Scouts. I have to say Andrew's two year preparation kept me questioning whether or not he was really ready, but after watching him yesterday I have to say he did an AWESOME job! First off David Rey had a tournament this weekend. His first game was Friday night. He then had one at 8am on Saturday and at 1. She fell head over heels for this boy and they became "boyfriend" and "girlfriend" soon after. (heehee)Their love affair began and they were inseparable. It was high school dances, parties, sweet 16's and sweet kisses in the hallways of Carroll High School! In the end, he saved the princess from the tower and she got her prince charming.

TOM, SENETTE, SERENA and NOAH. Sunday, March 28, 2010. Spring is in full swing! This has been one whirlwind of a month, and its not quite over just yet! Noah wrapped up city league basketball, and we had one full week off from that before the. YMCA league began. Serena has played softball every weekend this month, round robin in the valley, league play and the 2010 Bombers tournament in New Braunfels. It has all been so much fun! The kids really do keep us busy, I am so proud of all that they do. oh!
