Of those five, I received three form letter rejections, and no synopsis or full requests. I didn't work on anything new with novels this month, since the focus was more on short stories. Miriam is trying. Really, she is. It just isn’t going well. Still, she’s keeping her psychic ability–to see when and how someone is going to die just by touching them–in check. But even that feels wrong somehow. Like she’s keeping a tornado stoppered up in a tiny bottle. Then comes one bad day that turns it all on her ear.

September / October - JasonBougger.com
http://jasonbougger.blogspot.com/2014/10/september-october.html
October 1, 2014. It's already October which means two things. It's my favorite month. 2) This year is going by entirely too fast and time needs to start slowing down again. I wanted to take a quick look at any writing accomplishments from the last 30 days and set some goals for the next 31. I moved Theme of Absence. To a token pay site and have continued to post a new story every Friday. It's traffic isn't up to where I'd like it to be yet, but all things take time. And speaking of time, onward to my Oct...
