I am so grateful that she died peacefully in her sleep, she wasn't sick, so in a way it was a surprise. At her house birthdays were special, she would make you your favorite meal and dessert and gather the family together for a mini celebration. I grew up thinking that we were like every other family - just like the Cunningham's on Happy Days. ...

We only found each other 13 years ago and in the last few have not been good about keeping in touch. Still, I loved her and am deeply saddened to have her out of my life - she was a truly good person. I love you Sam. And I am sorry we didn't have a whole lifetime to be sisters.
