Boston Marathon at 40. My Quest for the Holy Trail. Friday, April 30, 2010. I tapered big time this week! NO running. I was on the verge of catching a cold, and I fought it off! I know physically, I'm not as fit as I was in October for my last marathon, but health wise I'm doing substantially better! I do plan on running a short one this afternoon. Boston Marathon at 40. My Quest for the Holy Trail. Friday, October 16, 2009. Slept the Day Away. Wednesday I called in sick, took a Unison, and slept until 3:30pm in the afternoon. I read until dinner, put the girls to bed, and watch some TV with with Becky. I was still under the weather the next morning, but my yesterday morning I was doing MUCH better. So I had no idea my pace or distance while I was running. I was fighting a cold, so I was not feeling my best. I just enjoyed the run and didn't push the pace.
