Sunday, December 28, 2008. Mielke's On the Snow. Family went to Granite Peak for the day. It was kinda misty, so we weren't quite sure how the day would pan out. Nick got his first job here at Granite Peak working in the cafeteria. When he finished working, he came and joined us. I was the only one who seemed to notice a difference in the snow. These are the days. Saturday, March 20, 2010. Nathan had another great soccer season with slightly less singing and wrestling his teammates during the game this year. He did come up missing in one game but we found him at the near by playground. Brooklyn is playing the flute this year and we were able to see her perform and the school musical concert. She did a great job! Clayton turned 12 this year. He got the Priesthood and is passing the sacrament and we are so proud of the young man he has become...

Friday, June 4, 2010. Ashton started t-ball this week, and he is so excited! He loves it so much, and I'm pretty sure he's the best one on his team (okay, maybe thats the proud mom talking)! But, he knows that none of the kids can catch, so when he fields a ball, he grounds it to the first base. We love to watch him play - he's so funny! Jake and Chelsey Brooks. Friday, February 23, 2007. Ashton has so many grandparents and he loves them all. It is always a special treat when Grandpa Tim comes to visit us from Reno because we don't get to see him very often. He likes to tease Ashton, which Ashton handles really well, considering he gets it all the time from his dad! Grandpa Tim came up to visit the family this year for Christmas. Friday, June 4, 2010. Roger decided to cut down one of our apple trees that was nasty, and during the process decided to build a treehouse. Because Rog is handy in the yard, but not so handy at building things, he called our brother-in-law Lonnie, whose a framer. Lonnie has been coming up to the house everyweek adding something new to it. The kids LOVE it! The photo doesn't have the slide or the rest of the finishing touches- but its really fun! Friday, February 20, 2009. This one's for you Grandma Val! So - when Ashton was two he was obsessed with. Since I took a pic of Joc, Ashton needed one too - He decided to show his muscles, which I think is hilarious! He's already a little man! I seriously think we have a pic of Rog in this exact pose when he was like 20 - scary! So, in attempts to be more crafty I have taken up sewing.
