Thursday, March 8, 2012. We had a fabulous February with lots of warm temperatures which was great for getting outdoors. Reagan was really into Valentine's this year and loved having a special breakfast along with giving and receiving valentines at school. The girls also went to soccer 'camp' together and loved every minute. Both have pretty good skills for their age! We hadn't gotten it out since we moved to NC and it's a definite favorite of the girls. This picture makes me laugh! Fun at Virginia Beach.

Monday, November 5, 2012. As I've said before, we have been so very lucky to get to use Aunt Nancy and Uncle Kenny's beach cottage each summer. It is one of our most favorite weeks of the year and this year did not disappoint! The weather was wonderfully cool for August.around 80 during the day and 65 at night. And even though most days included a few hours of rain, we made the most of it and when John came for the weekend, it was beautiful! Already looking forward to the next time! The next Mia Hamm?

Monday, November 5, 2012. The next Mia Hamm? Only time will tell! Reagan enjoyed her first attempt at soccer playing for the Holly Springs Rec League. Go Bears! While she is not the most aggressive player, she has good, solid skills and enjoyed going each week to learn more and play hard. We were all very proud of her! I think the most exciting part of the 8-week season (according to her) was the trophy at the end. It proudly sits on a shelf in her room.what a special treasure! Claire Bears First Haircut.

Thursday, July 21, 2011. The Arp Family Reunion 2011. Around 50 Arps celebrated in McCaysville, GA over 4th of July weekend with a fun family reunion. The weekend started with dinner at Nana's, a bar-b-que picnic at Horseshoe Bend Park, and two days of swimming and boat riding at Dirk and Lisa's on Blue Ridge Lake. Monday, January 9, 2012. Here are few of my favorite pics from the session I had done in mid-December. I needed to get Claire's 18 month pictures and of course a few cute ones of the girls together and Reagan at 3 1/2 years old. Christmas morning was so much fun! Tuesday, April 24, 2012. We went with our good friends from school today to pick strawberries at Vaughn Farms in Fuquay-Varina. It was so much fun, although a little chilly for the end of April, and we came home with 4 lbs of mouth-watering strawberries. We made smoothies right away and poured some into popsicle molds for later this week. I think I might go back again to freeze more for the summer!
