Our little corner of the world. Monday, December 13, 2010. We are all human. This weekend, I participated in a twitter campaign through We Are All Human. A project started by fans of Bethany Joy Galeotti. We Are All Human is seeking to raise funds for Love146. A non-profit organization that has been close to my heart for a few years now. Love146 fights for "Abolition and Restoration! The money will specifically benefit the Round Home. The goal is to raise $10,000 by December 31st through Crowd Rise.

our little corner of the world.: just a little something.
http://wesingwedance.blogspot.com/2011/07/just-little-something.html
Our little corner of the world. Saturday, July 2, 2011. Just a little something. Seven months since my last post. I'm not entirely convinced that i'm "back" in terms of blogging yet, but as i was brewing some java this morning, my little mug collection made me think of yellow songbird's "around the house". Link up party today and i thought i'd participate. The green and white emma. Well, i'm off to figure out why my computer keeps changing my settings from "U.S." to "Spanish" or "Irish.". Oh, sweet joy!

Our little corner of the world. Tuesday, November 16, 2010. Calm down, sister. I allow blogging to make me way too uptight. What fun it would be to:. Record an audio book. Sing and play a song or two in a studio with my universally talented husband. Have a house with a room that has song lyrics, verses, and poem stanzas written on the walls. Labels: just for fun. Only You Suffice: May 2011
http://onlyyousuffice.blogspot.com/2011_05_01_archive.html
Tuesday, May 17, 2011. That's not the title that I would have originally picked for a post about my MCAT scores. But I can honestly say that this is the only word that is resonating in my mind. Freedom to really follow God's plan. Freedom to discover God's purpose in my life. Freedom to see how His plan is going to play out. How do I know that? So, I have freedom. I have peace. I have excitement to look forward in fulfillment of whatever God's plans might be for my life. And I have faith, a s...I said th...

a work in progress: God's Pharmacy
http://janelleoutright.blogspot.com/2009/06/gods-pharmacy.html
A work in progress. Create in me a pure heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me." Psalm 51:10. Sunday, June 21, 2009. I received this in an email my dad forwarded to me. I think it's pretty amazing how creative God is, and we don't even realize it sometimes. 1 A sliced Carrot resembles the human eye including the pupil, iris, and radiating lines. Only You Suffice: my restless soul...
http://onlyyousuffice.blogspot.com/2011/07/my-restless-soul.html
Saturday, July 23, 2011. My best friend Leslie arrived back home today after being in a very foreign country for over a year. In her return, I am so thankful to be able to give her big hugs and not have to look at a computer screen to see her smile. I can finally pick up a phone and call her. And not worry about time differences. This next month is going to be exciting! He said, "Wait.". So wait. It's not a concept that one really desires to hear when "I want to go now! He is to be praised because He sav...

Only You Suffice: Health
http://onlyyousuffice.blogspot.com/p/health.html
When I was in high school and an avid swimmer and athlete, my year-round swim team had a registered dietitian and nutritionist come to meet with us. He probably talked a lot about this and that.blah blah blah. It was so exciting. And I didn't care. Now that I've been "done" with swimming for over 5 years, the only thing that I remember from this man is his motto, "Make better bad choices.". Make better bad choices? What could that mean? Kind of interesting, no? Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Somewhere Over ...

a work in progress: No Worries, I'm Fine
http://janelleoutright.blogspot.com/2009/06/no-worries-im-fine.html
A work in progress. Create in me a pure heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me." Psalm 51:10. Wednesday, June 24, 2009. No Worries, I'm Fine. So yesterday I went in for my dentist appointment and was horrified to be told that it had been 22 months since I came in last. WHAT? I honestly had no idea that much time had slipped away, and I’m usually very dedicated about checking in every six months. Well here’s what happened:. Good news: I am cavity free! Did the medicine affect you like that?
