Today I meditated for twenty minutes on ahimsa. Ahimsa is non-violence, or more radically, non-injury. It’s the intentional practice of not harming humans, animals, insects, ourselves, and even plants. Of course we need to eat, but we should be mindful of eating things that cause the least harm to all involved. September 12, 2014.

Try to stop placing all of your happiness into whether or not your lovers will text you back. Try to stop feeling a vague sense of melancholy, something that you aren’t able to pinpoint but you know is there. Kind of attitude but when I do, I get angry.
