A little bit of this and certainly a lot of that. Notification Systems – To care or not to care. Customization is limited. A user can customize the paradigm but I shouldn’t allow them a plethora of options otherwise that opens too many UX disasters and confuse users about their preferred method of communication. The site is an integrated part of their work-process and doesn’t need to be considered in the “email them and let them come to us” process. The shadow knows everything. Consolidation is the key.
