The Modern Domestic Wife: November 2012

http://themoderndomesticwife.blogspot.com/2012_11_01_archive.html

The Modern Domestic Wife. So, whether you eat or drink, whatever you do, do all to the glory of God. 1 Cor. 10:31. Fully Living in the Moment. Today has been a day full of the little blessings. Little blessings. Every second of every day is a gift from God. Every breath, every smile, every hug, every cloud, every rain drop. They are all blessings. The same precious face he made as a young toddler, mesmerized by books. Each moment of each day, you clearly see. I am truly surrounded by His blessings. My ba...

The Modern Domestic Wife. So, whether you eat or drink, whatever you do, do all to the glory of God. 1 Cor. 10:31. Homemade Yogurt - in the Crockpot! So, a friend introduced me to this crockpot blog. Earlier this week and I wish I had known about this site long. Before now. After all, the more pregnant I become, the more I use my crockpot. :). Anyway, I saw on the aforementioned site that you can make yogurt - that's right yogurt. You only need 2 ingredients to make yogurt:. Yogurt (I used Dannon*).

The Modern Domestic Wife. So, whether you eat or drink, whatever you do, do all to the glory of God. 1 Cor. 10:31. Daniel thought of me this morning when he saw the sunrise from the church office where he had gone for a mens' Bible study. Though it is a little blurry, this is a truly beautiful shot. Thankful for Daniel who thought of me and captured a moment he knew I would have stood in awe, looking on, had I been there with him. Into "when I'm bigger like you." right now. Kids don't miss a thing. In to...

The Modern Domestic Wife. So, whether you eat or drink, whatever you do, do all to the glory of God. 1 Cor. 10:31. One Year of Cloth Diapering and the Return of Baby Wearing. Anyone who has read my blog for any extended period of time knows that I began the great adventure of cloth diapering in March of 2009. The following post is basically a book, so consider yourself forewarned! For the most part, I really enjoy using the prefolds, though I try to wait until after the kids have pooed before using them&...

The Modern Domestic Wife. So, whether you eat or drink, whatever you do, do all to the glory of God. 1 Cor. 10:31. Everyday Grace Joy Dare 2013. The word art my sister had made for me for Christmas. The reminder. I already knew a little history of "One Thousand Gifts" - that a friend of Voskamp's had dared her to find 1,000 things she was thankful for 1,000 eucharisteos. Journaling eucharisteos became an incredible blessing, especially as I read Voskamp's book. How many more have I missed? Once I hit the...

We pulled her in the sled, made snow angels, hiked to the backyard and to the bench. Once again, Hannah was begging to stay outside in the snow. She was freezing, hungry and crying her head off because she wanted to ride in the sled just a little more. Tuesday, January 10, 2012. Zoo Lights at the Denver Zoo. Friday, January 6, 2012. Hannah in the tent.
