I spent all this time being sad and lonely every now and then, but now I feel like I'm okay with how things are. I feel no void within me, no emptiness that needs filling by a significant other. I'm comfortable with being single. And now there's someone new. again. Of all the 'what if's' that there are, maybe the most important one is: what if everything will be okay?
