Thursday, July 22, 2010. Sam and I left alpine air for the bright lights of Paris and were excited about touring the French capital. Paris is a beautiful city, but more beautiful from afar than up close. The architecture and main tourist sites, like the Eiffel Tower and the Louvre, are stunning. Despite the lack of cleanliness of the city, we really enjoyed our five nights in Paris. There are also a variety of reasonably priced restaurants in Montmartre, so we never had a problem choosing where to eat.

After spending a week weaving through the sea of tourists in Venice, Florence and Rome, the peaceful, remote cities in the Cinque Terre National Park were exactly what we needed. Saturday, June 25, 2011. We've been avoiding the inevitable because a haircut means that Brennon isn't a baby anymore! Friday was the day! We took him to Shear Madness for a very overpriced haircut, in hope that this first experience would be less traumatic if it was kid friendly. Brennon did great! He dove a little yellow Hummer and watched some Dora for the 3 minutes it took to trim his baby locks. Thursday, June 23, 2011. Plus, someone turned 11 MONTHS OLD this week! He was stashing it! Days 6 and 7.

Monday, January 10, 2011. The Things That Families Are Made Of. Brennon's Christmas pictures;. Christmas has always been a hectic time for me and my blended families; however when you add a husband and a baby into the equation, things get even crazier! We attended 7 Christmases this year; 2 on Christmas Eve, 3 on Christmas Day, 1 the day after Christmas and 1 on the 30th! With that being said, Christmas flew by in what seemed like the blink of an eye! I am happy to report that NO ONE got sick this year!

Is smaller than the Zoo in Kansas City, it’s much more kid friendly. Most of the animals are very tame and you can get close enough to feed them. This was my favorite part, baby ostriches! We went to the local mall, souvenir shops, surf shops, and the Boardwalk at Pensacola Beach. The best part was dinner at McGwire’s Irish Pub.
