We put some plastic planters around the edges of the box to catch runners. and they just kept growing! It soon became evident that our cute little tower couldn't hold them all. They were going to have to be moved! Step 1. Slide a piece of plywood under it all. (Sounds easy enough, right? Too bad you didn't get the video version!

Monday, June 30, 2008. How the Garden Grew. in June 2008. Well, it's been a month since I uploaded these pictures and said "more info coming. only had time to get the pics up so far. We added some extra wire for the beans and an old satellite dish for the birdhouse gourds to climb. Snapdragons came back in the old garden spot. We'd never had any this coloro before. And the dill flowered early, adding some extra color to the garden. June 23. a view of all three spots. A yardlong bean bloom.

Tuesday, May 20, 2008. In the before and after shots, you would expect this to be the after, right? Well not in our case! This was the nicely painted "Children's Church" area which is what we now call our garage. So. here's the "before" picture:. Some of the walls coming off. (We also used some of the window frames for the martin house.). Monday, May 19, 2008. Some shots of the work in progress. The holes we cut out for the birds to enter were a great size to hold the rail. Ready to move in.

Sunday, March 29, 2009. On Saturday, we went with some good friends for a hike through the Howell Wetlands in Evansville. We thought it might be a bit rainy, but it turned out to be a great day for a hike and a picnic under the shelter. We saw lots of turtles, ducks, geese, and birds.Carter was even excited to see a brick laying in the water (he needs to get out more :)! We had a wonderful day, and took some fun pictures! Monday, February 1, 2010. We finally got our first big snow, and the boys couldn't wait to play in it! Thankfully, Dave was off, so we headed to the hills for some sledding! Some good friends were able to join us as well so their little guy could hit the slopest too! We spent two hours there, and I'm pretty sure the boys slid down at least 30 times! Friday, June 25, 2010. We bought season passes to the Holiday World water/amusement park in Santa Claus, Indiana this summer, and have been 11 times so far (we are getting our money's worth! This park is amazing.VERY clean, free soft drinks, free sunscreen, friendly staff. Carter LOVES all the rides.including the roller coasters, but his favorite is the Pilgrim's Plunge, which is the World's Tallest Water Ride! I was a bit freaked as I watched him go up the first time, but now he rides it all by himself!

Carter got the chance to play first base, third base and pitcher, and Caleb played left field, third base and second base.
