A chronicle of our adventures living abroad in Copenhagen, Denmark. Thursday, November 21, 2013. We decided to invest in a Danish cargo - or "Christiania"- bike - take a look! Recall we don't have a car.so this has made life SO much easier, from grocery shopping, going places on weekends and taking the kids to and from school. The crazy life of the Allen Family. In addition to being happy while I'm working, he was also sleeping very well at night. On Monday night he slept the whole night for the first time. I put him down at 8 and he didn't wake up until 5:30. AWESOME! I love how you can take what was a very trying, rough day / night and spin it into a positive story. I would say that she was scared of Halloween the majority of the time. Jimmy's costume didn't help things at all. We went trick-or-treating (sort of) around Chris and Kristin's neighborhood. First, she was able to read her 50 sight words to her teacher twice, which puts her on a special list with the other kids who know those words. I'm so proud of her! Our practicing at home paid off.
