Sunday, December 11, 2011. Decoded by Shawn Carter ("Jay-Z"). December 15, 2011 at 6:48 PM. Have you ever wondered where rappers get their lyrics from? Why the people from “the hood” have the stereotype of being hustlers and drug dealers? Or have you ever thought about how a rapper who grew up in the Marcy Housing Projects of Brooklyn, New York became a well known music icon, a business mogul and a billionaire? The Educated Imagination: My Booky Wook by Russell Brand
http://educated-imagination.blogspot.com/2011/12/my-booky-wook-by-russell-brand.html
Monday, December 12, 2011. My Booky Wook by Russell Brand. December 15, 2011 at 12:03 PM. I believe Russell Brand represents redemption well, because he had to redeem himself after he had such a great struggle with drug addictions and dysfunctional relationships. He was able to truthfully talk about his journey with addictions and relationships because it was his life story and is able to write how it actually feels to go through something so difficult rather than just empathizing with people.

The Educated Imagination: Steve Jobs by Walter Isaacson
http://educated-imagination.blogspot.com/2011/12/steve-jobs-by-walter-isaacson.html
Sunday, December 11, 2011. Steve Jobs by Walter Isaacson. December 14, 2011 at 2:44 PM. The only problems I had with this book are that the book was very text heave during certain chapters which caused my attention to drift and that there were pictures, however they were very limited. There were no charts or diagrams and the photos that were there were very dispersed and minimal. Overall a wonderful biography of Steve Jobs and he would be proud to read it.
