Thursday, March 26, 2009. Lauren has been "cruising" around furniture for over a month, but this week she has decided to start letting go and taking a few steps! What an exciting time for her and us! Although, we are now in serious baby proofing mode! I am amazed at how quickly she can get into things. My eyes and ears are working in overdrive now! Tuesday, February 24, 2009. Lauren has decided that she really likes "our" food rather than her pureed baby food. We have been feeding her regular food for a couple weeks, but she has just recently decided that she really wants to feed herself! Friday, May 22, 2009. I cannot believe it has been a year already! The time truly does fly by. We are enjoying being parents SO much! It is such an added blessing having her in our lives. To say that there is never a dull moment in the Skelly household is an understatement! We are thouroughly entertained by all the funny things that Lauren is doing. Jeremy brought home a cupcake on her actual birthday, but she was not to crazy about it. In this picture, Lauren is exactly 1 year old! My First Friend and Me.

Wednesday, August 27, 2008. I am constantly searching photography websites looking for good ideas for photo ops with Lauren. My question is: How do they get those "too darn cute" moments captured, especially the darling sleeping pictures? The moment I move Lauren to a cute photo op position, she wakes up and squirms everywhere. Maybe our blonde haired, blue eyed cutie is NOT capable of "model" behavior! Saturday, January 31, 2009. Sorry, the quality of this video is not great, but this is the first time she started saying "Bye Bye." I was actually trying to get some video of her playing with her table! Apparently, she had other plans for what she wanted to be on the video! She is growing up so fast!
