Tuesday, 11 March 2008. On the mic now you should N-O. Grimes prodical son Kano has recently annoucned he's back on the scene after parting ways with his record company, 679 recordings. According to an interview with 1xtra, Kano "says he wants to go back to his grimier roots after two albums with the label". Monday, 10 March 2008. What did he say? Ghetto has once again left his dirty work to one of his minions - this time Scorcher. Westwood's 1xtra rap show has proved a popular stirring ground and the newest rivalry to come from this is Scorcher vs P money. Ghetto was quoted as saying he was gonna air P money because they aren't on the same level, nice to see the Movement encouraging each other like that. So what did he say? Albums are the way into the mainstream that grime just hasn't managed so far. Jammer, JME, Ghetto, Skepta, Wiley and Goodz, to name but a few, should all be releasing good quality albums this year.
