From the Creek Bank: June 2011
http://cowhollowcreek.blogspot.com/2011_06_01_archive.html
From the Creek Bank. Friday, June 24, 2011. Traveler after his long ride. I'm glad life has continued along as normal all around me on the creek bank. And I'm glad that a little kitten decided to take a trip to town with me to remind me that there are all sorts of creative, adventurous things going on all around me and that I just need to look closer and find joy in even the little simple blessings that God sends my way. From the Creek Bank: September 2010
http://cowhollowcreek.blogspot.com/2010_09_01_archive.html
From the Creek Bank. Saturday, September 25, 2010. Blogging has taken a back seat to other duties this past month. This post is from my journal, written very early in the morning on 9/15/2010. Short, but I would like to share those thoughts from the front porch with you. The neighborhood rooster continues to crow and try to wake everyone up, even a little before the sun rises since the days are already shorter. There's a mist hanging in Cow Hollow this morning. In the pasture, the cows are beginn...Creek...

From the Creek Bank. Sunday, August 14, 2011. Our wildlife neighbors come and go here on Cow Hollow Creek. We haven't seen the wild turkeys for several months until the last few days. I'm sure they've been back in the safety of the woods while the young hatched and got a good start. But recently we have watched them cross the pasture on their way to and from the creek. We're glad to see them again. He'll never tell me but I think he probably has names for some of them! Until next time,. I was just review...

From the Creek Bank: December: Day 6
http://cowhollowcreek.blogspot.com/2013/12/december-day-6.html
From the Creek Bank. Saturday, December 7, 2013. Today was a falling weather day. Mostly rain, lots of rain, but ice and sleet were predicted. I got home from work with just rain, but Bill said the tree in the backyard had frozen and unfrozen several times during the day as the temperature went up and down.I love snow but ice keeps me in the house! It was blue, and had a hand crank on the side and it really worked! I still have that little sewing machine somewhere and one of these days I will go through ...

From the Creek Bank: December - Day 5
http://cowhollowcreek.blogspot.com/2013/12/december-day-5.html
From the Creek Bank. Friday, December 6, 2013. December - Day 5. Rain, and I mean lots of rain, here on the creek bank today! And everywhere else I’ve been today! The morning started out unseasonably warm, then the rain came and the temperatures dropped throughout the day. By the time I got home, it was a lot colder than when I left this morning. A shoe box won’t hold a lot, but then you’d be surprised at what you can pack into that small space! Until Day 6……. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). From the...

From the Creek Bank: October 2014
http://cowhollowcreek.blogspot.com/2014_10_01_archive.html
From the Creek Bank. Tuesday, October 28, 2014. The Color and Music of Autumn. Today was one of the rare days that I get to stay at home all day, and I decided to get some pictures of the fall colors here on the creek bank. Rain was in the forecast and I knew the trees would lose most of their leaves when it began to rain. I have enjoyed this fall especially and have almost decided that I might like fall better than Spring. At least this year. Until next time,. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

From the Creek Bank: December: Day 8
http://cowhollowcreek.blogspot.com/2013/12/december-day-8.html
From the Creek Bank. Monday, December 9, 2013. 8220;God’s Gifts Come Wrapped in Persons.” I saw this message on a church sign many years ago and it is embedded in my Christmas memories. At first, I didn’t quite get the message. But as I began to think about God’s gifts and how He gives them to us, I began to be more aware of God’s gifts to me through others. First of all, just what is a gift? Thank You, Lord, for Your gift of Salvation. 8220;O come, let us adore Him, Christ, the Lord.”. Until Day 9….

http://cowhollowcreek.blogspot.com/2010_08_01_archive.html
From the Creek Bank. Friday, August 27, 2010. The weather has been cooler the past few days on the creek bank. Days are still warm but not nearly 100 degrees (in the shade! And the humidity is much lower. Nights have cooled down and it's been very pleasant sitting on the front porch in the evenings. Back then we baled in square bales that even I could pick up and load on the wagon. Much different today when the hay is rolled into huge round bales. Labor saving, yes, but maybe not as memory-making. Friday...
