Thursday, May 3, 2012. Thankful Thursday: A Trip to the Home Beauty Salon. This morning was low-key. I managed to sleep in until the glorious hour of 7 am Shockingly rare. I enjoyed my coffee and some reading time. The kids have played nicely and we managed to get a few things organized before we head over to school for lunch duty with Griffin. I was sitting on the floor watching my daughter accessorize a stuffed elephant when my little guy came over and asked if he could brush my hair. Sure, why not.

Thursday, September 22, 2011. Thank You, God, for Blessing Me: a book review. In this adorable book, by Max Lucado, Hermie the Caterpillar shows little kids how they can be thankful for everything. I love how he thanks God for his bed, his food, his friends, and everything. My three year old loved this book. I've already had to read it several times and we just got it today.
