Queen of the Englands: June 2011
http://fiveenglands.blogspot.com/2011_06_01_archive.html
Queen of the Englands. Except if I'm the Queen, why doesn't anyone follow my directions? Sunday, June 26, 2011. You are growing up too fast. You started a small part-time job at the golf course for the summer yesterday. You came in from your first few hours of work starved to death. Four chicken sandwiches and two drinks later, you were full. Sheesh! You keep eating like that and I'll have to go to work with you! It reminded me of when you first learned to ride (at 3 years old, I might add) and how you w...

Queen of the Englands: May 2012
http://fiveenglands.blogspot.com/2012_05_01_archive.html
Queen of the Englands. Except if I'm the Queen, why doesn't anyone follow my directions? Wednesday, May 23, 2012. Well, MOST of the time it's with great love and affection.). I think about buying our first home. Taking a new job. The last "traditional" Christmas spent with both my grandma and granddaddy along with my extended family. A lifetime of moments - each changing me little by little into who I am today. Joy-filled and sorrow-filled. Sometimes both at the same time. A flurry of texts. Even as I wr...

Queen of the Englands: A Best Day
http://fiveenglands.blogspot.com/2011/12/best-day.html
Queen of the Englands. Except if I'm the Queen, why doesn't anyone follow my directions? Friday, December 2, 2011. Many days in our lives seem to roll from one to the other. At least in my life it seems that way. I have been complaining all week to everyone (anyone? A Best Day. Or a night. Or even a few hours. What did my best day look like? It didn't even start until tonight. When I looked up and saw this. I love him. And I'm so thankful to have another chance to enjoy a little boy. The Oh-So-Handsome K...

Austin Six: The Flying Pig 2015
http://austinsix.blogspot.com/2015/05/the-flying-pig-2015.html
Tuesday, May 5, 2015. The Flying Pig 2015. Last weekend I participated in the Flying Pig Half Marathon in Cincinnati. It was my first half marathon and it was SO MUCH FUN! I was so nervous that something would go wrong, shin splint, hip pain, etc. I am not going to say it didn't hurt, because it did! But it was so worth it! A few pictures from after the race:. Will I do it again? 131 miles is a really long run, very physically exhausting, but such a rewarding experience. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Austin Six: November 2011
http://austinsix.blogspot.com/2011_11_01_archive.html
Monday, November 28, 2011. During the month of November there is a trend on Facebook to name one thing you are thankful for each day. I cannot remember to post everyday, but I am very thankful for so many things. I am thankful for God's plan for my life. I am thankful that God sheds such grace, when I certainly don't deserve it. I made the life changing decision to follow Christ as a young teenager. Needless to say, I have strayed from Him in the past 18 years, but He never stopped loving me. It was tons...
