Tomorrow will mark the 3 week countdown to Christmas. As I am trying to fill our family calendar with wonderful holiday memories, I am struck with the overwhelming sense of urgency to double and triple check that Ely knows what Christmas is really. So, we will be more intentional each day to bring it all back to Christ. One of THOSE moms.

Monday, September 21, 2009. Birthdays and a cook out. Dax helping Cori open her gift. What did Sashi get? Dax playing with his new tractor. Dax's first experience with Pop Rocks. Thanks Teresa! The corn sure was good! Special time with Daddy. It is amazing the little things in life that a two and a half year old will do for going pee pee in the potty. Wednesday, September 29, 2010. Race for the Cure. This past Saturday we headed out EARLY to do the Race for the Cure. I was really looking forward to it, we hadn't participated since I lived in Charlotte. We had a great time, Mackenzie hung out in the stroller and at the end she held my hand and we ran to the finish line together. Sunday, October 19, 2008. Dax's first Georgia game. He loved the yelling and threw up his hands for "touchdown" (just like his Uncle Tom). It was a great day and Shane said that it ranked up in his top days of his life. Seeing the world through children's eyes is a wonderful thing! A Day Out With THOMAS! Our new favorite person to talk about is Thomas. It also happens to be one of Brock's favorite people too! So, the Boozer's and the Mayfield's went to see Thomas! Going to the Pumpkin patch.

Tuesday, December 1, 2009. The tree was a huge hit along with all the other decorations, their favorite being Hallmark tappers that dance and play carols. Sadie favorite Christmas carol was Deck the Halls. Their big gifts were a princess bike and Thomas train set.
