Most of our snow melted weeks ago and now that temps have dropped again we sit in a deceptively mild-looking but secretely frozen landscape. Did you know our kids don't nap anymore? Haven't for several months now - if they fall asleep, say, in the car, they are up way late. Here are some ways to spend the afternoon with no-nap toddlers:. And stuff we love. or at least like. Monday, July 20, 2015. We left early so the kids could be unconscious for the first four hours. And they were! We made time that day! We stopped only for potty breaks (we brought the training potty along and pulled over for Riley about six times) and gas. We stopped for an hour at dinner time and let the kids go crazy on the Burger King jungle gym and then back on the road. Hour 16 and the point at which I started doubting we would find a hotel. Now where did that go?

October was busy and time kind of got away from us so that did not work out and my break was spent at home in Salt Lake.
