You can make shakers from a variety of materials such as plastic fruits and vegetables, empty spice bottles, plastic film containers, etc. These shakers can be filled with aquarium gravel, beads, rice, lentils, polenta, split peas, beans, unpopped popcorn, nuts and small screws, quinoa, peppercorns, pennies, seeds, uncooked macaroni and so on. I’m sure your classroom/home/pantry has some kind of hidden sound making materials! Check this video out!
