When we first came back to reality after our fun summer, Evan was pretty bored with me and asked to go to Grandma's a lot. Evan's buddy Tyson turned 3 and had the best birthday party ever! Everyone got to make their very own Lighting McQueen's! And we even got to take it home.

Lucky for him, it fell on Saturday this year, so I gave him the best present ever and let him sleep in. And sleep he did, that's for sure! When he woke up, I made his favorite breakfast, crepes, and we had a plethora of deliciousness for toppings: Nutella, powdered sugar, lemon juice, sugar, raspberries, strawberries, and cool whip. AND THEN THERE WERE THREE. Sunday, December 18, 2011. It's the best time of the year! They have little scenes set up of moving toys, Santas, etc. My favorite is the nativity scene. It was very educational. Check out Joseph. I had no idea he was a Chinese warrior guy with a sword. I may be a little afraid for baby Jesus right now. I thought the Christmas village was pretty crowded for my tastes, especially pushing a stroller in the crowd, but look at the contrast. Very excited about all the decorations!

We were so excited about the 100 hotwheels cars we got him, and his reaction was better than what we hoped. He was panicking, running around, asking if they were really his, and laughing. I just love him. SO sad he was sick, but this Christmas was still amazing. Look how sick he is! I hate having a sick kid.

Although we are hoping the arrival of our baby comes right on (Dec 27) or way before Christmas, we'll be happy with whenever we get to meet our sweet boy! When Wes first found out that he was getting a brother, he insisted that we call him "Donut". He has now upgraded the baby's name to "Race Car" and will not even consider any other options. I think it's darling! But isn't it cute!

We started our weekend off by heading to Bear Lake, where we stayed at Nate's, dad's cabin. There were decorations, balloons, cake, presents, food and family. It was great. His grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousin came to help him celebrate. He LOVED the food.what new! And watching him open a gift was hilarious! I will be putting pics of the party and our Bear Lake Adventure on soon!
