Beth found this lovely butterfly in our front yard this afternoon and I managed to grab the camera quickly enough for a picture. The rough part was identifing it! Our National Audubon Society Field Guide to North American Butterflies. Book does not have it, I found that rather surprising considering the internet seems to think it is very common.
