My sweet pea just loves Target! When ever she is in this store she is as happy as can be - there are so many isles to look at and so many lights. She likes to put her feet up on the bar as she rides shot gun in the cart. Finally, my little Easter bunny. I could just explode with love looking at this picture! 13 K and Counting.

http://peaceofmindbodyandsoul.blogspot.com/2008_10_01_archive.html
Peace of Mind, Body and Soul. Monday, October 27, 2008. This was my second year running Ekiden. An Ekiden (駅伝), usually referred to as a marathon relay in English, is a long-distance relay, road race. The term originated in Japan. The first ekiden race was sponsored by the Yomiuri Shimbun. In 1917, and was run over three days between the old Japanese capital of Kyoto. And the modern capital of Tokyo. A distance of 508 km, to celebrate the anniversary of the moving of the capital to Tokyo.

Peace of Mind, Body and Soul: June 2008
http://peaceofmindbodyandsoul.blogspot.com/2008_06_01_archive.html
Peace of Mind, Body and Soul. Friday, June 27, 2008. Oh how long its been. Since I last posted. And I am afraid I don't have much to post today either - there has been a lot going on, I just have not had time to write it all down. I have been slammed at work (which is awesome) but now that I have work, I don't get to email or write at work. So, I will find time tomorrow or Sunday to write about the shenanigans I have been getting into! Only because I know you have been dying to hear what I have been up to.

See Mom Run: Ride the High Horse - Thrill in the Hills 21K race report

Sunday, February 24, 2013. Ride the High Horse - Thrill in the Hills 21K race report. So, you know how I hate it when people drop trash outside of designated trash receptacles? Today, I am going to get on my soapbox/ high horse. And vent about it. If you are a litterer or think that you are too good for trash can usage, stop reading now. But first, the race! About a month ago, Natalie. Karen, and I decided to do the Thrill in the Hills Marathon. The first time, I face-planted and James picked me up. ...

Life with our family: Terry, Dorothy, Sophia, Michael and Emily. Sunday, April 24, 2011. Happy Easter to all my faithful readers! Today was an interesting day, we were up early, the kids were a bit crazy from starting their day with jelly beans and malted eggs. And of course, there was the inevitable squabbling. Is there a family out there whose kids don't compare who got what? We were fortunate to have all the grandparents come over in the afternoon for dinner. It was nice to sit on the pollen free ...

The Gouldie Zone: Fireflies/Lightning Bugs

Life with our family: Terry, Dorothy, Sophia, Michael and Emily. Tuesday, June 28, 2011. Which do you call them? I don't think it really matters what you call them. To me, they invoke all sorts of memories of playing kickball and SPUD while we waited for the streetlights to come on. That was always our signal it was time to come inside. Life with our family: Terry, Dorothy, Sophia, Michael and Emily. Friday, April 16, 2010. The other morning Michael brought me Sophie's guitar and put on a show. I was wondering where he got his moves until I showed the video to Terry and he burst out laughing. He and Michael had been watching old Who videos on YouTube. I guess this is Michael's rendition of Pete Townsend. Although Pete did not have to contend with the pesky strap like Michael did. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile.

Evan's Garden: November 2014
http://evansgarden.blogspot.com/2014_11_01_archive.html
Sunday, November 23, 2014. Naptime is for Suckers! I ordered the flowers for today's church service. And, silly me, I didn't leave a note about wanting the bouquet to be colorful. So, I ended up with a solid white bouquet. Again. If you don't know how I feel about solid white bouquets, you can read all about it here. I guess it's my own fault, since I'm the picky one. I suppose it's all about Evan's purity again. Blah blah blah! Well, here are a few pictures of Evan in his favorite color. I can't say tha...
