Another Day in Paradise. Thursday, November 3, 2011. Since it is early November, I feel this would be the appropriate time to blog about that one day. You know that one day where people wear ridiculous costumes and get sick from partaking of too much junk. Honestly, for most of my life I really didn't even look at it as a holiday. Sunday, January 2, 2011. Another busy year of reading. Loved the Hunger Games trilogy as well as The Great and Terrible series by Chris Stewart. Left to Tell was extremely disturbing, but well worth it. I was in college when the Rwandan Holocaust took place and still I knew very little about it. Tragic. Friday afternoon Grandma and Grandpa headed home and we drove on to the Sleeping Bear Sand Dunes. Makinac Bridge and Castle Farms continued. On Friday we headed south over the bridge to Charlevoix, MI and Castle Farms. It was a farm built like a castle and now more of a museum. We fed fish, watched the trains, sat in the buggies and played outside chess.
