Lowering Bucket Levels | The Sac Happiness Project
https://sachappinessproject.wordpress.com/2012/07/15/lowering-bucket-levels
The Sac Happiness Project. Finding joy and positivity in life's 'everydays'. The one where I crash and come back to life. On Gratefulness →. July 15, 2012. A couple of months ago, I wrote. About the How Full Is Your Bucket book with the idea that anything you do or say can affect the levels of someone’s bucket. You can either add to their buckets with positive emotions or ‘bucket dip’ and take away from their wellbeing. Full of tasks, priorities, commitments, stresses, etc. So what’s the solution? Not so...

July 10, 2015. Zachary David Bland. 05/29/15. 8 pounds, 7 ounces. 20 inches long. If you would have told me that one short yet loooooooong year later I would be writing the birth story of my live baby, I don't know what I would have done. I wish I could go back and tell that Tina. That this would be our next chapter, our happy ending AND our bright new beginning. I wish I could tell her that the sadness of losing her baby. Small, but still.when you live through it once, it's hard to not. I went up to tak...

Buying an old house… – Life on a Little Grey Cloud
https://littlegreycloud.wordpress.com/2013/02/06/buying-an-old-house
Life on a Little Grey Cloud. Pretty things, cats, coffee and taking on too much…. February 6, 2013. Buying an old house…. I wouldn’t argue with any of the above (and in fact, it pretty much sums up our reasons for buying the Cloud) but would caution that in many cases old houses require a lot of work and when that work is done, a lot of maintenance. In the 4 years that we have owned the Cloud we’ve encountered and had to fix:. The lack of a damp proof course. And currently being fixed…. Overview of the v...

Food: Huevos Rancheros – Life on a Little Grey Cloud
https://littlegreycloud.wordpress.com/2014/06/16/food-huevos-rancheros
Life on a Little Grey Cloud. Pretty things, cats, coffee and taking on too much…. June 16, 2014. I haven’t done a food entry in a while. So here’s what I’m cooking for dinner tonight:. It’s full of protein and good fats. The really great thing about it is that it’s quick (10-12 minutes) and simple (only heating and chopping really) to prepare, so is a good choice when you’re feeling like you have hardly any time to prepare food after a long day at work and a post-work run. The One That Got Away… – Life on a Little Grey Cloud
https://littlegreycloud.wordpress.com/2014/04/29/the-one-that-got-away
Life on a Little Grey Cloud. Pretty things, cats, coffee and taking on too much…. April 29, 2014. The One That Got Away…. This is a picture of the first house I loved enough to make an offer on. It was a 2-up 2-down terrace, just outside my preferred search area but that was new on the market and the asking price was well within budget. Look at that front door! I loved the shelving in the recesses above, and the ceiling lamp in the picture below! This entry was posted in Other Houses. You are commenting ...

A new front door… – Life on a Little Grey Cloud
https://littlegreycloud.wordpress.com/2013/03/10/a-new-front-door
Life on a Little Grey Cloud. Pretty things, cats, coffee and taking on too much…. March 10, 2013. A new front door…. So, I think I mentioned that the first job we had done was the replacement of the front door. You might remember that I recently wrote about things to think about when choosing a front door and concluded that the two main things to think about were that the door was secure and that it looked good. Well, here’s the original entryway to the Cloud in all its glory:. The frame of the door prio...
